Made in Ramsgate is hosting an event next month and wants to hear from makers, artisans and artists in the town who’d be interested in taking part.

The brand was launched by artists and makers from Ramsgate in 2017, bringing together people for pop-up events and opportunities to show high quality work. especially to new exhibitors.

The event, organised by Nice Things and the Handmade & Vintage Fairs, takes place on February 9 at former wine bar 26 Harbour Street between 10am and 4pm.

Nice Things owner Suzy Humphries said: “We would love to hear from makers, artisans and artists in Ramsgate who’d be interested in taking part. We would especially like to hear from new people who haven’t shown their work in town yet.

“There is also opportunity to show in Nice Things  in Harbour Street over the coming year, our Ramsgate shop specialising in local and handmade items.

“As a collective event, everyone chips in a tiny amount to cover the hire of the space and a printed flyer and posters. Each year has been very successful and a great way to present the growing number and range of talented artisans here in Ramsgate.”

Anyone interested can get in touch via [email protected] or [email protected], or pop in to Nice Things for a chat.
