Police appeal following robbery at Ramsgate bar

A man armed with a knife threatened staff and stole cash from a bar in Ramsgate on Sunday (December 2).

It was reported that the man walked into the bar, believed to be The Harbour Bar, in Harbour Street at around 1am and demanded cash before stealing money from the till.

He was seen to leave on foot towards the High Street and in the direction of King’s Place.

The suspect was described as wearing a grey hooded top and jogging bottoms and trainers, and had his face covered with a scarf.  He was believed to be speaking with a foreign accent, possibly eastern European.
