Ramsgate RNLI launched tonight (December 3) after a man got cut off by the tide at Kingsgate.
The crew were called at 7pm at the request of UK Coastguard. They arrived on scene and found the man trapped in the old swimming pool near North Foreland Estate.
A crew member went ashore and escorted him to the 39 steps, where he was met by the local mobile coastguards. The crew member made his way back to the lifeboat and returned back to station.
