Ageless Thanet: Get ready for our Christmas events

Christmas events

There are lots of Christmas events taking place throughout December that you can get involved with at the Ageless Thanet Feelgood Factory. Ageless Thanet is a Big Lottery Funded project that aims to reduce social isolation and loneliness in people over 50 who live in Thanet.

According to research conducted by Age UK, approximately 450,000 people over the age of 65 will be spending Christmas alone.

Ian Barker, Ageless Thanet Wellbeing Programme Manager, said: We know that the Christmas period can be an intensely lonely time for many older people. We would really encourage people to go along and join in with Christmas events in their community and have some festive fun”.

The Feelgood Factory is at 80 High Street, Margate.
