Ramsgate fashion show to raise funds for Oasis Domestic Abuse Service and Academy FM

The fashion show will raise cash for two causes

Models will be strutting their stuff on a catwalk in Ramsgate to raise cash for two causes.

The charity fashion show at Royal Harbour Academy in Marlowe Way will raise funds for local radio station Academy FM and Oasis Domestic Abuse Service.

The show, hosted by Academy FM, takes place on Thursday, November 22 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Tickets are £5 each.

Clothes showcased on the catwalk have been provide by Oasis and will be available to buy on the night, There will also be stalls, live entertainment, a raffle and a free glass of bubbly on arrival with a homemade mince pie.

Good quality unwanted clothing can also be dropped off for the Oasis charity shop.

Funds will help Oasis with its service which offers emergency, safe and temporary accommodation as well as ongoing support for families who have suffered domestic abuse. The team works to keep victims safe and help rebuild lives free from abuse.

Funding will be split with Thanet’s Academy FM radio station which is run almost entirely by volunteers.
