Children at Mother Goose Nursery in Ramsgate have been collecting food for their Harvest Festival donation.
The little ones have been exploring the pre- school curriculum by learning about understanding the world we live in and in particular the local community.
The children have spoken about how having little money for food can affect your mood and behaviour, how it can impact on concentration and learning and how children’s development can suffer long term.
The nursery has donated the collection to the Salvation Army following a talk where members visited and spoke to the children. The food parcels will be given to needy families.
The nursery thanked all those who had made a donation.
