A road in Broadstairs was partially blocked after a pedestrian was hit by a car today (October 16).
The incident happened at around 3.50pm in Ramsgate Road, close to East Kent College. The road was blocked both ways but is now open.
The pedestrian, believed to be a female student, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “Police were called at 3.47pm to a report of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Ramsgate Road, Broadstairs.
“Officers attended along with Secamb and the pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries not believed to be life threatening.”
