Police called to stabbing by Cliftonville Tesco Metro

Police were called to Tesco Metro in Cliftonville today (September 11) following a reported stabbing.

Kent Police was called at 2pm to the report of the assault outside the supermarket in Northdown Road.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Officers are currently at the scene along with the South East Coast Ambulance. A man has been taken to a London hospital with stab injuries.”

It is believed the victim and offender were known to one another. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
