Witness appeal after man injured in Ramsgate assault

Police are appealing for information after a man was injured in an assault in Ramsgate.

It was reported that at around 3.30am on Friday 13 July  in Harbour Street, a 19-year-old man was attacked by another man.

The suspect was believed to have walked away in the direction of Madeira Walk.

The victim received an arm injury and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspect was described as a white man aged in his early 20s, 5ft 10ins tall, with short blonde hair and stubble. He was reported to be wearing blue jeans, dark trainers  and a  black t-shirt with white writing on it.

Officers ask that anyone who was in the area at the time, and may have seen something which could assist their investigation, calls Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting ZY/40362/18.
