Academy FM Thanet has been awarded funding by housing association Orbit to run training courses.
The courses are open to any Orbit tenant of any age, including school children, and are free to attend.
Presenter Debbie Day said: “All we ask is that people are committed to attending the courses as they are funded. We cover how to present a radio programme, how to script links and write and read a news bulletin.”
The Academy FM studio is based at Royal Harbour Academy upper site off Stirling Way, Ramsgate.
