Kent Police has issued CCTV images of two women that officers want to talk to in connection with fraudulent transactions made using a Margate pensioner’s bank cards.

Officers are investigating a report of theft and fraudulent use of the bank cards in Thanet after the victim, in his 70s, reported the transactions being made at businesses on the isle  between 1 March and 17 May.

A 24-year-old woman from Broadstairs has been arrested on suspicion of theft in connection with the report and has been released on bail until 19 August.

Following a number of enquiries including a review of card usage and CCTV opportunities, officers are now able to issue images of two people they would like to identify.
