A family of Parakeets nesting in the attic of a Ramsgate pub will feature on BBC Springwatch tonight (June 11) and tomorrow.
A special nest box camera, operated by Ramsgate nature expert Keith Ross, was used for a month of filming in the attic of the Chilton Tavern.
The two part film will follow the nesting birds rearing a pair of chicks from just a few days old through to the fledging of the last chick from the attic space.
" What you looking at….?"Making some films about this little geezer and his family for @BBCSpringwatch with a lot of help from @ramsgatebirds and we think they might just turn out to be some stars of this years show. Make sure you're watching. Starts Monday. pic.twitter.com/fo32lAceTD
