Indie band Boy Azooga to make Thanet debut at the Tom Thumb Theatre

Boy Azooga are coming to the isle

Welsh indie rock band Boy Azooga are to make their Thanet live debut at Cliftonville’s Tom Thumb Theatre next week.

Following a recent performance on Later With Jools Holland and a slew of singles, all of which are quickly becoming a fixture on the 6Music and Radio 1 playlists, the band release their debut LP via Heavenly Recordings today (June 8).

The band, who take musical cues from the likes of Sly & The Family Stone, Caribou, Black Sabbath, Outkast, Van McCoy, Ty Segall and The Beastie Boys, nabbed their name from the 1994 film The Little Rascals.
Boy Azooga will be appearing at the Tom Thumb Theatre in Margate on June 13, doors open from 7pm.
