“Officers are also investigating a report of a similar incident on Tuesday 15 May shortly after 4pm, when an 11-year-old girl was walking down Minnis Road in Birchington when she was approached by a man in a dark-coloured car who offered her a lift home.

“She declined and was able to walk home without further issue.  Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 15-0889.”
