Two pubs in the same St Nicholas-at-Wade street have been targeted by burglars.
Kent Police received reports that pubs The Bell Inn and The Sun Inn, both based in The Street in St Nicholas At Wade, were broken into overnight between Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 May.
In both reports, cash was reported stolen from the premises, along with fruit machines being broken into and money stolen from them.
Enquiries are ongoing and police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Inspector Lara Connor of Thanet Community Safety Unit said: “We ask that business owners take the time to review their security, ensure their premises are locked up at the end of the working day, and not to store quantities of cash onsite if possible.”
