Get ready for the fourth annual Thanet Pugathon

Thanet Pugathon

The Thanet Pugathon is back for its fourth year!

Stalls, food, raffle, ‘face in the hole’ and, of course, pugs in fancy dress will all be on show at King George VI Park in Ramsgate on May 13.

The event runs from 11am to 2pm and will be raising funds for Guardian Angel Dog Rescue.

This year there will also be a special pug rock hunt with members of Thanet Rock Hunters joining the fun. They will be hiding their pug decorated stones and there will be a chance for ‘hunters’ to win some rock painting pens.

Organiser Lucy Cook said: “It is a community event to meet up and make friends and hopefully encourage new foster homes and donations for Guardian Angel Dog Rescue.

“All dogs are welcome but the fancy dress, with £1 entry, is for the pugs. The event is free but donations of change in the buckets would be gratefully received.”

There are also some stall holder spaces available at £10 per pitch, traders must have public liability insurance.
