Witness appeal after man is hit over head with pool cue in Ramsgate pub

A man has suffered injuries after being hit over the head with a pool cue in a Ramsgate pub.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the assault which happened at around 7.30pm in the Earl St Vincent last Thursday (12 April) .

The victim, a man in his 40s, was in the King Street pub when he was assaulted. He suffered an injury to his head and was taken to a local  hospital.

The suspect was described as a white man,  around 5 ft 7ins tall,  with grey hair and spoke with a Scottish accent.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault or who has information about the incident.
