Everything you need to know for the Undercover Festival at Dreamland

Sham 69 will play at the Undercover Festival

Undercover Festival VI comes to Dreamland for a two-day celebration of punk, ska and alternative music.

The festival takes place on April 13-14 over two stages.

The Blockheads headline on Friday with a full set of at least 75 minutes.

Sham 69 make their first visit to Margate with Jimmy Pursey and the band headlining on the Saturday.

Other bands include The Wyrd Sisters, Stone Heroes, Roddy Radiation and more.

Organiser Mick Moriarty said the festival is different from mainstream events, with two days of alternative action from bands you’d be highly unlikely to see on most other festival line-ups.

He added: “When we said it was the home we were looking for since we started as a festival in 2013, we meant it and I am pleased to be able to announce that we will be back at Dreamland Margate in April.

“It looks as if the move to April is working and appealing to many, our advice is get in quick as it looks like this one will be selling out soon..

Plans are in place for an even better Undercover VI, the finishing touches are in place.

“I thought we could not beat the line-up we had for 2017, but I think we may have, our message to everyone is come along and see what all the fuss is about.”
