The death of a woman in Ramsgate is being investigated by officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
Kent Police officers were called to a flat in Trove Court, Newcastle Hill, Ramsgate at around 10.30pm on Monday (March 5) after receiving a report from a man who was concerned he had not heard from his friend in sometime.
Officers attended and forced entry to the flat. The body of a woman, thought to be in her thirties, was located.
Currently her death is being treated as unexplained. No formal identification has yet taken place and a post-mortem examination is due to take place later on this week.
