Westwood Cross held its inaugural Customer Service Awards this month.

Hosted at Café Rouge, the glitzy event celebrated staff who have gone above and beyond, offering the very best in customer service.

Award categories ranged from Cleaning Operative of The Year to Retail Contribution to Charity and the coveted Best Customer Service Award.

The winner of overall Best Customer Service Award was Andrew ‘Ozzy’ Osbourne, team leader at Mecca Bingo. Loved by all his customers and colleagues alike, Andrew was recognised for going the extra mile. He was awarded a £100 Westwood Cross gift card and crystal award.

Francesca Donovan, centre manager at Westwood Cross, said: “People are at the very heart of the centre and we feel it’s important to recognise the fantastic job staff at our shopping centre do on a daily basis, ensuring our customers have a truly wonderful experience.

“We received so many fantastic entries to our first Customer Service Awards, and it was a tough decision to select the overall winners. With so much talent in the centre, we have committed to hosting the awards annually. I’m sure they will become a celebrated event, marking the positive contribution colleagues across the centre continue to make.”
