Fancy free pizza for life from a top rated, independent restaurant in Margate?

GB Pizza in Marine Drive is offering customers the chance to scoop just that if they buy a charity pizza at the venue on National Pizza Day this Friday (February 9).

The restaurant, which recently scooped a listing as a ‘local gem’ in the Waitrose Good Food Guide for 2018 for the fifth consecutive year, is owned by chef Rachel Seed and journalist Lisa Richards, along with Great Dane Henry.

They are giving away one of their hot pink VIP cards, which entitles the bearer to free pizza for life at their Margate and Didsbury restaurants.

They said: “Everyone who buys one of our charity pizzas will automatically be entered into a raffle to win one of our hot pink cards. Or you can pay £1 to enter – this £1 will go directly to the Brain Tumour Charity, the charity which we will be supporting over the coming months with our new pizza and other fundraising activities.

“Claire Howell, one of the Brain Tumour Charity’s fundraisers, will be in the restaurant on Friday to sample the new pizza: braised leeks, thyme and the Urban Cheesemaker’s Rebellion cheese.

“The Tottenham-based cheesemaker is donating this award-winning cheese for the charity pizza for free. An incredibly humbling gesture that the GB•PIZZA•CO team are hugely grateful for.”

And, even if you don’t win the free pizza, the first 100 people to buy a charity pizza will get a free GB•PIZZA•CO tote bag!
