Seven painters are displaying their work for ‘A Current Under Sea’ at Pie Factory Margate, 5 Broad Street.
The exhibition explores T.S Eliot’s poem The Waste Land. Eliot alludes to feelings, history, mythology and the natural world.
The artists in this exhibition are a group formed in London and brought together through their use of figuration, imagination and observation.
The exhibition is part of a bigger programme of events responding to The Waste Land, running in parallel with Journeys with ‘The Waste Land’ at Turner Contemporary.
Private view: Thursday, February 1, 6pm-9pm
The exhibition continues until February 6
The gallery is open 10am-5pm
