Ramsgate Rotary Club members have celebrated the end of preparations to the Father Christmas sleigh which is a focal point for their popular charity collections.
Club President Graham Larcombe said: “This is our main collection time in support of the various charities we help during the year and I am sure local residents will be as generous as ever. We also look forward to many children and young people turning out to greet Santa.”
Santa’s route:
Sunday December 3 from 3.30pm – London Road area, starting at the top of Warre Avenue
Tuesday, December 5, from 5.30pm – Hereson Road/St Lukes Avenue area, starting at Montifiore Avenue
Sunday, December 10 from 3.30pm – Nethercourt area, starting at the top of Nethercourt Farm Road
Tuesday, December 12 from 5.30pm – Dumpton area, starting at West Dumpton Lane
Thursday, December 14, from 5.30pm – Whitehall area, starting at margate Road/Whitehall Road junction
Sunday, December 17, from 3.30pm – Minster, starting at the top of Tothill Street
Monday, December 18, from 5.30pm – Cliffsend, starting at Seaview Road
There will also be static collections at Tesco Manston; Sainsbury’s and Ramsgate Town Centre.
