Three people have been arrested following a car chase in Margate last night (November 16).
Kent Police was called at 10pm to a report of a Toyota people carrier being stolen from Arlington Gardens in Margate.
The vehicle was spotted by officers a short time later but it was driven away at speed.
Officers chased the car which finally came to a stop in St Anthony’s Way, Margate.
Police detained three people with assistance of a police dog and they were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and remain in custody at this time.
The vehicle suffered some damage to the front during the incident.
