
A park area in Ramsgate has been taped off by police following a report of concern for a woman’s welfare.
Officers were called to the play park area off La Belle Alliance Square and Camden Square in the early hours of this morning (November 16).
A Kent Police spokesman said officers are still at the scene. He added: “Kent Police was called at 4.36am on Thursday 16 November due to concern for the welfare of a woman in Camden Square, Ramsgate.
“Officers are currently at the scene and enquiries are on-going.”
The tape was taken down at around 9.45am.
UPDATE: South East Coast Ambulance service has confirmed a woman was taken to QEQM hospital. An ambulance crew was called to La Belle Alliance Square at 4.55am by police officers at the scene.
More details are expected this afternoon.
