The Empire Room restaurant in Ramsgate is sponsoring a new isle, grassroots football team.
The under 9s for East Kent Football Club, based at St George’s school in Broadstairs, are playing their first season as a team and enjoying being part of the Faversham and District Youth Football League.
James Thomas, owner of The Empire Room, said “It’s great to be able to be involved with community projects like this and the development of the players is great to see. We wish them all the luck for this season.”
