Detectives investigating the theft of cigarettes from a Birchington shop believe it is connected to a second incident in Herne Bay.
Cigarettes were reported as stolen from a convenience store in Station Road, Birchington, at about 4.15am on Monday 6 November.
Cigarettes were again the target when burglars broke into a petrol station in Kings Road, Herne Bay, just after 4.15am today (November 7).
Detectives believe three offenders used a crowbar to force open the door, put the cigarettes into a large, yellow builders’ supply-type bag and left the scene in a dark-coloured car.
A yellow builders’ supply-type bag was also used in the #Birchington burglary the previous night.
