Dominos is opening in Birchington and there are still jobs on offer

25 jobs have been created

A Dominos pizza store will open in Birchington tomorrow (October 5).

Some 25 jobs have been created at the former Nat West site in Station Road, including pizza makers, customer service colleagues and delivery drivers. More jobs are also on offer.

Store manager Josh Clowes said: “We’re thrilled to be opening our doors to the people of Birchington and we’re celebrating the opening by offering any size pizza for £7.99 when collected!

“There’s also plenty of employment opportunity for people living in Birchington, so we look forward to welcoming local pizza superstars to join our growing team.

“In particular we’re searching for delivery drivers, who can provide exceptional customer service, and demonstrate integrity, honesty and reliability, as well as being pepperoni passionate for freshly made pizza.”

At induction, as well as throughout their career, Domino’s offers its colleagues full training, ranging from dough management and food hygiene for pizza makers through to road safety for all delivery drivers.

Domino’s recruits on the basis of ability and many team members go on to management positions in under two years.

The company is an Age Positive Employer Champion, which means that it has been recognised for its commitment to welcoming applicants of all ages.
