Emergency services called to crash in Garlinge

Two adults and a child reportedly suffered minor injuries

A road has reopened following a two-car crash in Garlinge this morning.

Police and ambulance were called to Brooke Avenue at 8.40am.

A Ford Mondeo and Renault Clio were involved in the collision.

Minor injuries were reportedly suffered by both drivers and a child passenger.

Emergency services cleared the road and it was reopened by around 9.50am.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Kent Police was called to a two vehicle collision in Brooke Avenue, Margate, at 8.49am. It happened at the junction with Kingstone Avenue.

“The South East Coast Ambulance assessed the occupants of both vehicles at the scene and no one is reported to have required hospital treatment.

“Officers had left the scene by 9.49am.”
