Free taster sessions on offer at Ageless Thanet 50+ Festival

The Ageless Thanet festival will be held in September

The Ageless Thanet 50+ Festival  will be held next month, with free taster sessions in everything from pottery to belly dancing.

People will also be able to bring their smart phone, tablet, or laptop and talk to the experts about any problems they may be having using it.

New for this year will be a food court selling a variety of hot and cold refreshments. There will also be live entertainment throughout the day and a free raffle with lots of prizes to be won.

Home care company Right at Home has pledged its support to Ageless Thanet’s upcoming 50+ Festival and highlighted the importance of ‘adding life to years, rather than years to life.’

Managing Director Lee Jackson said:“We are delighted to be collaborating with Ageless Thanet on the 50+ Festival. It is a great opportunity to come along and try something new for free, whilst also discovering what is available locally for people over 50 in Thanet.”

A spokesman for the festival said: “We would also like to thank our other sponsors Hardman and Watson, Safe Hands Mobility, and Trinity Resource Centre for their support and contributions.”

The festival will be held on Sunday, September 3, 10am-4pm, at St George’s School in Broadstairs.
