Emergency services called to car crash at Westbrook

Emergency services have been called to the scene of a crash on the Canterbury Road in Westbrook/Garlinge.

One vehicle ended up on its roof.

A witness said: “A person crawled out of the car. Police are at the scene now.”

The carriageway was closed while the vehicle was removed.

Kent Police say two cars were involved in the incident – a Peugeot and a Mini.

A spokesman said: “Kent Police was called at 7.10pm  to reports of a two vehicle collision on the A28 Canterbury Road.

“Officers attended the scene and a road closure was put in place. No serious injuries were reported.”
