Neil Joseph Jones was sentenced on 15 June at Medway Magistrates’ Court.
He pleaded guilty to burglary.
On 13 June the 39-year-old, of no fixed address, broke into an address in St Luke’s Avenue, Ramsgate, with the intent to steal.
Magistrates sentenced Jones to 14 days in prison, suspended for 16 months. He must also pay a £115 victim surcharge.
Caroline Joanna Samantha Irani was sentenced on 16 June at Thanet Magistrates’ Court.
She pleaded guilty to burglary.
On 31 May the 43-year-old, of Clements Road, Ramsgate, trespassed at a hotel in Canterbury Road, Margate, and stole £800.
Magistrates sentenced Irani to 90 days in prison, suspended for 12 months. She must also pay £800 compensation.
Terry Steven Thurling was sentenced on 20 June at Medway Magistrates’ Court.
He pleaded guilty to common assault and five counts of shoplifting.
On 2 April the 35-year-old, of Arklow Square, Ramsgate, stole meat and chocolate worth £40 from a shop in Tothill Street, Minster.
On 13 April he stole razor blades worth £12 from a shop in High Street, Ramsgate.
On 1 June he stole gin worth £100 from a supermarket in Queen Street, Ramsgate.
On 4 June he stole gin worth £56 from the same supermarket.
On 8 June he stole clothing worth £109 and assaulted a man at a garden centre in Montefiore Avenue, Ramsgate.
Magistrates sentenced Thurling to 120 days in prison. He must also pay £367 compensation, £85 costs and a £115 victim surcharge.
Richard Cole-Leggatt was sentenced on 21 June at Medway Magistrates’ Court.
He pleaded guilty to shoplifting.
On 20 May the 35-year-old, of no fixed address, stole beef steaks worth an unknown amount from a shop in Grange Road, Ramsgate.
Magistrates sentenced Cole-Leggatt to 140 days in prison. He must also pay £40 compensation, £85 costs and a £115 victim surcharge.
Lauren Benham was sentenced on 20 June at Thanet Magistrates’ Court.
She pleaded guilty to two counts of shoplifting.
On 9 April the 29-year-old, of Brisbane Drive, Ramsgate, stole whisky and champagne worth £50 from a supermarket in Westwood Retail Park, Broadstairs.
On 15 May she stole fragrances worth £138 from a shop in St George’s Street, Canterbury.
Magistrates sentenced Benham to 60 days in prison, suspended for 12 months, and gave her a two month curfew to remain at home between 8pm and 7am daily. The curfew runs until 19 August 2017. She must also pay £50 compensation and an £85 victim surcharge.
William Wesley Robotham was sentenced on 20 June at Thanet Magistrates’ Court.
He pleaded guilty to drink driving.
On 2 June the 59-year-old, of Coronation Close, Broadstairs, drove a Mercedes CLK320 in Millmead Road, Margate, and gave a breath test of 65 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Magistrates banned Robotham from driving for 18 months. He must also pay a £120 fine, £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
Marioan Florian Dumitru was sentenced on 20 June at Thanet Magistrates’ Court.
He pleaded guilty to driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, driving without insurance and drink driving.
On 4 June the 30-year-old, of Preston Road, Ramsgate, drove a Vauxhall Astra in High Street, St Lawrence, Ramsgate, otherwise than in accordance with a licence and with no insurance. He gave a breath test of 83 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Magistrates banned Dumitru from driving for 22 months. He must also pay a £583 fine, £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
Philip Headech was sentenced on 20 June at Thanet Magistrates’ Court.
He pleaded guilty to drink driving.
On 4 June the 23-year-old, of Hardres Street, Ramsgate, drove a Vauxhall Astra in Northdown Hill, Margate, and gave a breath test of 78 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Magistrates banned Headech from driving for 40 months. He must also pay a £120 fine, £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
Gary Harvey was sentenced on 20 June at Thanet Magistrates’ Court.
He pleaded guilty to drink driving.
On 26 March the 56-year-old, of Ramsgate Road, Margate, drove a Citroen Berlingo in Nash Court Road, Margate, and gave a urine test of 192 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 107 milligrammes.
