An independent Ramsgate coffee bean business has branched out into some new, quirky goods

For The Love of Beans is getting creative

An independent Ramsgate business  that produces chocolate covered coffee beans has branched out into more unusual products.

For the Love of Beans, established by undergraduate student Chris Fennell and launched in December 2016, is now creating chocolate Lego and men!

Keen amateur cyclist Chris was prompted to start the business to combine his love of coffee with chocolate – without all the calories.

Best ingredients

The company try to use high quality and, where possible, locally sourced ingredients.  Their coffee is purchased from a UK based company and all the beans are roasted within the UK.

They only uses 100% arabica beans  and Chris ensures that he combines with high quality Belgium chocolate.

For the Love of Beans is a regular stall-holder at Thanet Farmers’ Market, which will be taking place this Sunday (June 11).

Top buys

The most popular product at the market is the milk chocolate coated coffee beans, although the chocolate covered edamame beans are rapidly gaining in popularity.

In addition to the coated beans Chris has started to branch out into the themed chocolate creations and hopes to increase the range.

For The Love Of Beans also attends a number of other local markets and Chris only sells direct to customers.

He comes to most markets with a beautiful cart which he designed and built himself.
