Photos: Families enjoy the Ellington Park May Fayre

A previous Ellington Park May fair

Crowds turned out for a day of sun and fun at the Ellington Park May Fayre yesterday (May 20).

The event featured a funfair, and steam train rides on the park’s unique model railway – a wide array of stalls, artisan food and drink, with old favourites such as the sophisticated Red Bean Coffee Machine, Stylish Ice Cream and Warner Wines returning and a traditional beer tent provided by the Flying Horse pub.

There was also a fun dog show organised by charity Angels 4 Dogs and plenty of live music throughout the day.

Acts included Big Steve and Jake Argyle, COCO,  and Celloman, fronted by cellist Ivan Hussey, who has worked with several distinguished artists including Take That, Annie Lennox, Duran Duran and Gabrielle.

It was the eighth May Fayre organised by the Friends of Ellington Park and was blessed for another year with sunshine.
