Police issue e-fit of man they want to talk to about Ramsgate robbery attempt

Do you recognise this man?

Kent Police officers investigating an attempted robbery in Ramsgate have released a computer-generated image of a man they would like to speak to.

The incident happened on Sunday 9 April in Wilfred Road at approximately 2.30pm.

It was reported that the victim, a woman in her 20s, was walking away from the station when a man approached her from behind and attempted to grab her handbag from her shoulder.

The woman screamed and the suspect was seen running away in the direction of the station.

The victim has been able to help officers this week compile an e-fit of the man and officers are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise him.

He is described as being white with a pale complexion and having tattoos on his arms.
