Fire crews were called to Parkwood Close in Broadstairs this morning (April 10).
A report of a washing machine on fire at a home in the road was made at 9.07am.
Crews used breathing apparatus and hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
There were no reported injuries and the incident was dealt with by 9.30am.
