Police appeal after motorcyclist suffers injuries in Manston Road crash

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious collision in Manston Road, Ramsgate.

Officers were called at 11.10am today (March 30) to the crossroads at Spitfire Way when a motorcycle and a Ford Fiesta collided.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, suffered serious injuries thought to be broken bones in his legs, arm and pelvis, and was flown to a London hospital by air ambulance.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit remain at the scene where the road is expected to remain closed until approximately 6pm.
