Margate Soul Weekend is back and promising that the main Sunset Stage will be bigger, better and open longer for 2017.
Hosted by Mi-Soul Radio, it will feature live performances both on Saturday and Sunday, during the festival on August 4-6, alongside a huge line up of DJs.
The event boats more than 50 DJs, two stages, seven themed venues and four major live acts.
It kicks off at 2pm on Friday, August 4.
The soul festival takes over Margate, including the old town, market, Winter Gardens and harbour.
As well as the improved Sunset Stage, a huge outdoor arena overlooking the sea, there will be a unique combination of ticketed large-scale outdoor live shows, free family-friendly, street performances, DJ led carnival street parties and an eclectic mix of club nightlife.
Among the headliners are Arrested Development, an American alternative hip hop group that formed in Atlanta in 1988.
It was founded by Speech and his ex-best friend Headliner as a positive, Afrocentric alternative to the gangsta rap popular in the early 1990s.
The band can boast 93 Grammys, 92 MTV Awards and 93 Soul Train awards.
