A Westgate youngster captured this image of the Sky Atlantic crew filming scenes for drama series The Tunnel this week.

Jamie Horton, 11, snapped the crew vehicles at Botany Bay.

The third series of the drama has been shooting in Dover, Discovery Park and on the isle.

The Tunnel: Vengeance , a third and final installment of the crime thriller with Clémence Poésy and Stephen Dillane, uses the former Pfizer site  as the French police headquarters. Crews will also be in Ramsgate and Margate on March 23-27.

One insider on set said: “Filming at Sandwich is always very relaxed. Stephen is friendly and cracks jokes. Clemence is quietly spoken, so if you are given a cue from part of her dialogue -which is usually in French – you have to listen very carefully.”

Scenes for the previous two series were also filmed in Thanet, Dover and Folkestone.

The Anglo  French drama, produced by Canal+ and Kudos Film and Television, Shine, follows detectives Karl Roebuck and Elise Wassermann after they are thrown together to investigate the death of a French politician.

A release date has not yet been announced.
