Man rescued from Manston Road crash

Fire  crews have released a man trapped in a car after a crash in Margate.

Crews were called to a two car crash at Manston Road at 7.13pm today (March 9)

Firefighters released one man who was trapped in the rear of one of the cars. He was handed over into the care of the ambulance service.

Kent Police said no “serious injuries” were reported but a total of four people were taken to hospital.

A spokesman said: “Kent Police was called at 6.58pm on Thursday 9 March following a two-car collision on Manston Road, Margate.

“Officers attended and a road closure was in place until the vehicles had been removed. Four people were taken to a local hospital but their injuries were not reported to be serious.”
