A call is being made for extras to take part in a short, romantic comedy which will be shooting in Broadstairs next week.
Producer Michael Wearing and actress and director Elena Dapelo need people for crowd scenes in the film Clara’s First Reader.
Filming will take place in Victoria Gardens, Broadstairs on July 11 and 12.
Mr Wearing posted on social media, saying: “We have a couple of crowd scenes for which we will need some extras. We unfortunately cannot afford to pay our extras but hope that you will get behind this project, by either being an extra or helping us source local people willing to give up a couple of hours for the film.
“We have chosen Broadstairs because it is very cinematic and a beautiful place. The weather is set to be in the 20s so once we have finished filming the scenes there will be plenty of time to enjoy the beach. Think of it as an excuse to spend the day in the sun.”
Filming is expected to be for around two hours on the morning of each day.
Anyone interested in taking part needs to be 16 or over.
