Emergency services are currently (May 26) at the scene of a collision between a car and a lorry – believed to be a waste vehicle- by the Minster roundabout on the A299 (London-bound).
Emergency services are working to clear the road following the crash at about 2pm.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police is attending a report of collision involving a car and a lorry by a roundabout on the A299 by Manston.
“Officers were called to the scene shortly before 2pm and currently remain there with other emergency services while work is ongoing to recover the vehicles and clear the road.”
Kent Fire and Rescue also attended and crews gave one person first aid.
A KFRS spokesperson said: “Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called at 1.58pm today (26 May) to reports of a crash involving a car and a lorry near a roundabout on the A299 at Manston.
“Two fire engines attended, and crews gave first aid to one person, who was passed into the care of SECAmb paramedics, as well as helping to make the scene safe.”
Fire crews finished at the scene at 2.52pm.
