Armed officers spotted in Ramsgate on Monday (April 6) were carrying out a warrant as part of a murder investigation following the death of a 19-year-old in Whitstable.
Armed police were in the areas of Coleman Crescent and Newington Road, during the late afternoon/early evening.
Kent Police was called at 2.04am on Friday 3 April to reports of a serious assault in Belmont Road, Whitstable. Patrols and paramedics attended the scene, where a 19 year old man was found with stab wounds. The teen, Ashton Harrington, was confirmed deceased at the scene. It is believed that he was known to the offenders.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “On the afternoon of Monday 6 April, Kent Police officers executed a warrant at an address on Newington Road, Ramsgate.
“Officers attended the residential property as part of ongoing enquiries into the murder of a 19-year-old in Whitstable.
“No arrests were made.”
Detectives would like to locate Tobias Agbaje and Kieron Barnes, as they may have information which could assist enquiries.

And there was me thinking when I went past the windmill pub that the police was arresting drink drivers as they came out pub and got in there cars, then I was hoping they was going to the st Laurence tavern pub where it’s so obvious they park on the pavement blocking your view of driving out of Ashburnham Road, park all on the double yellow lines outside the pub while they are sat in there drinking before returning to there cars same with the Australian arms pub aswell
