A man was arrested at Ramsgate’s Travelodge on Sunday (March 8) following a report of suspected drink-driving.
Kent Police officers attended the Travelodge on Royal Parade just after midday.
Anthony Innins, of Rotherfield Road, Sunderland, was charged with driving whilst unfit through drink and three other driving offences.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 12.04pm on Sunday 8 March to a Travelodge on Harbour Parade, Ramsgate following a report of suspected drink driving.
“Officers attended and a man was arrested. Later that day, Anthony Innins, of Rotherfield Road, Sunderland, was charged with driving whilst unfit through drink and three other driving offences.
“Mr Innins, 54, was remanded to appear before Margate Magistrates’ Court on Monday 9 March.”
And it took X2 police cars, X3 unmarked cars and 10 plus officers to do so
