This week 26 members of the choir at Birchington CE Primary School travelled to the O2 in London to take part in the Young Voices 2026 event.
They joined 8,000 other children, as well as a live band, singers and a dance group and performed to a huge audience of parents, carers and family.
They sung a wide variety of compositions, including songs from Wicked, a variety of sea-shanties and ended with a disco fever medley.
For some of the children, it was the first time they had ever visited the O2 with one of the children saying: ‘Crying happy tears as it was the best night of my life.’
A school spokesperson said: “It was an amazing day full of memories that will stay with them for a long time – performing in the largest children’s choir in the world in the O2 arena.”
