Chapel House Estate in Minster has been awarded Gold – Wedding Venue of the Year at the Beautiful South Awards for Excellence 2025/2026.
The awards ceremony, held last night (December 9), celebrates excellence in customer experience, innovation and quality across the region. Securing Gold places Chapel House Estate among the top wedding venues in the South, a notable achievement for an independently owned, family-run estate that has been welcoming weddings for just three years.
The latest accolade builds on the estate’s strong awards history, having also secured Gold – Wedding Venue of the Year in the 2023/2024 awards.
Chapel House Estate has established a reputation for its blend of historic charm, contemporary luxury, and sustainability through home-grown produce, local partnerships, and eco-friendly practices.
The venue offers bespoke weddings with multiple indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces and on-site accommodation.
The judging panel commended the estate for its attention to detail, strong sense of place and consistently high standards for guest experience, recognising its ability to compete and excel alongside long-established venues across the South East.
Chapel House Estate’s on-site restaurant, number nine, was previously awarded Silver – Best Restaurant at the Beautiful South Awards for Excellence 2024/2025.

I’d try their restaurant if it didn’t involve two buses or two trains each way to get the few miles from Birchington to Minster (I can usually cycle it quicker, but not after a big meal and alcohol!).
