Emergency services are at the scene following a collision involving a pedestrian, understood to be a child, and a bus at QEQM Hospital today (August 7).
Vehicle entry to the hospital from Ramsgate Road is blocked with a police cordon and multiple emergency vehicles in attendance.
Police are advising drivers to use alternative routes.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 4.04pm to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a bus on Ramsgate Road, Margate.
“Officers are currently at the scene and the road remains closed. Drivers are advised to find alternative routes.”
