Students from Cross Keys Learning in St Peter’s and and Womenswold rounded off the summer term in unforgettable style, with two action-packed days full of laughter, teamwork, and outdoor adventure.
It began with a traditional sports afternoon at Ross Wood campsite, where students took part in classic races like the egg and spoon, three-legged, bean bag balancing, and sack race. With cheering from staff and students, the atmosphere was full of energy and fun from start to finish.
A group of students and staff then stayed on for an overnight camping experience, getting stuck into setting up tents, cooking their own food, and ending the evening around the campfire with hot chocolate and marshmallows.
The next day, the whole school headed out for a trip to Wildwood Trust, where students explored the animal park, crossed the wobbly bear rope bridge, and spotted bison, wild boar, otters, polecats and more. There was plenty of fun in the playground too, making it a great mix of learning, adventure, and play.
It was a brilliant way to end the year, full of smiles, and memories that will last a long time.
