Police were called this morning (June 12) after a car was crashed into a wall in Ramsgate and then abandoned.
The vehicle was left after being ploughed into the wall by flats at Lancaster Close.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 6.36am on Thursday 12 June to reports a car had collided with a wall in Lancaster Close, Ramsgate. The vehicle was left abandoned at the scene.
“Officers attended the scene to make enquiries and arrangements were made for the vehicle to be recovered.”
Officers are attempting to locate the driver and say an investigation remains ongoing.

Neither is the number of imbeciles constantly crashing into walls, cars, pedestrians & houses in Thanet the last few years either.
What a silly place to build a wall. I hope the law abiding & responsible driver who was not at all under the influence of drink or drugs, but merely staggered off with memory loss & not at all so they wouldn’t fail the sobriety tests is safe & well, sues the council for their negligence.

How unfortunate! An overzealous employee was in such a rush to get to work at 6:30am that they didn’t even have time to stay with their vehicle. I hope they didn’t have any pay deducted for being late.

Nobody drives into that short Close unless they live very nearby. Not far to look for the drugged/drunk/ uninsured/ unlicensed/ young scrote.
