Four fire engines attended a house fire in Cliftonville yesterday (April 28).
Kent Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to the property in Norfolk Road at 3.42pm. Wearing breathing apparatus, the team used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
Crews were at the scene for almost five hours, winding up at 8.23pm.
The Volunteer Response Team were in attendance, providing welfare.
There were no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.
